Jo Akery

I have been working at Brixham Church of England Primary School for the past few years where I have had the pleasure of working with the amazing children and their families!

​Before moving to Devon in 2001 and later qualifying as a teacher I worked as a Nursery Nurse in St Albans Hertfordshire for twelve years.

​

​Since working at Brixham C of E I have worked in both Year 1 and Year 2. I am responsible for the teaching and learning in Year 4 and am Maths subject lead across the school.

​

I am well known for my love of the 'egg' shaped ball as opposed to the round one!
